We must first examine and test your vehicle for any existing or potential problems. If everything is fine then we will find a suitable location for the LPG tank and finalize the arrangement.
After a deposit of £100 is paid we will arrange a date on which we will the need vehicle by.
Once the vehicle is at our premises we will endeavour to complete the conversion within the time frame we have given you.
We use a number of different LPG kits, although the kits differ in some parts in general what is true for the Landi kit will also be true for the other kits.
All our kits are the latest generation multipoint sequential injection kits.
The Landi LSI Kit
A switch is installed onto the dashboard with this you can manually select petrol or LPG. The switch also has a gauge showing the level of lpg remaining, the positioning of the switch can be changed if desired.
The ECU (Electronic Control Unit) reads every cylinder's petrol injection time and translates this into a gas injection time, this ensures that the correct level of gas reaches the intake manifold. It also monitors engine RPM, battery voltage, gas pressure and temperature amongst other things.
The Regulator converts the LPG from liquid to gas and supplies a variable flow at constant pressure.
The disposable filter has the job of filtering the gas vapour from the regulator.
The Injector Rails are available in 2, 3 and 4 injector configurations. These are used to convert 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 cylinder vehicles. The gas from the filter feeds the rail and is injected directly into the induction manifold.
